Overnight Host Form
Congratulations on receiving an invitation to interview at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine! As current medical students, we have all been through the interview process and really know how difficult and, most of all, expensive it can be. Because of this, we are excited to offer you an opportunity to stay with a host student prior to your interview. Although you may have to settle for a couch rather than a bed, you may save a good amount of money, as well as gain some valuable insight into the life of a PSUCOM medical student.
Please be aware that all of us student hosts are volunteering our time and our homes in order to welcome the potential next year’s class. Also, due to academic demands, please recognize that some dates may be unavailable. In the rare event that this does occur, we will let you know so you can make other accommodations.
Our hosts are expected to provide housing the night before your interview and breakfast the morning of your interview. They are not responsible for your transportation. In addition, if you wish to extend your stay, please seek other arrangements for the extra days you’ll be staying in Hershey.
Please submit your request for a student host no later than two weeks prior to your interview date. Also, if you are not contacted within a week of submitting your request, please don’t hesitate to send us an email!
The Student Hosting program is independent from the admissions process and thus, we hope to offer a pressure-free environment for the night before your interview. If interested, please fill out the form below and we’ll use the information to match you with a PSCOM student host. Also, don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. We are very excited and can’t wait to meet you!
Thanks, Penn State College of Medicine Students
